Cora can automatically create draft responses for emails that need replies. You control whether drafts are generated, how many options you see, and what style they use.

Turning auto-drafting on or off

Through settings:

  1. Toggle "Auto-draft Responses" on or off

Through the Assistant:

"Turn off auto-drafting" "Enable automatic responses" "Stop creating drafts"

When disabled:

  • Emails still get categorized

  • Briefs still generated

  • Summaries still created

  • No draft responses generated

Single vs. multiple drafts

Choose how many draft options Cora creates:

  • Single: One best response

  • Multiple: 2–3 alternative options with different tones

Through settings:

  1. Select "Single draft" or "Multiple drafts"

Through the Assistant:

"Switch to single draft mode" "Give me multiple draft options"

Setting your email signature

Add a signature that's automatically appended to drafts.

Through settings:

  1. Use the rich text editor to create your signature

  2. Supports formatting: bold, italic, links, lists

Through the Assistant:

"Set my email signature to: Best regards, John" "Update my signature with a link to my website" "Clear my email signature"

New accounts start with a default "Sent with Cora" signature. Customize or remove it anytime.

Improving draft quality

Teach Cora your preferences:

Style preferences:

"Make my responses more formal" "Keep email responses under three sentences" "Use casual tone for internal emails" "Always include my phone number in first responses"

Useful information:

"My calendar link is calendly.com/username" "I'm available Tuesdays and Thursdays for calls" "I typically respond to requests within 24 hours"

Creating email templates

Templates are reusable responses for common situations:

"Create a template for declining meetings politely" "Make a template for requesting more information" "Create a standard response for partnership inquiries"

Managing templates:

"Show me all my email templates" "Edit the meeting decline template" "Delete the old project update template"

Requesting specific drafts

Ask for a draft anytime:

"Generate a response to the last email from Sarah" "Draft a reply declining this meeting" "Create a follow-up for the Johnson proposal"
