The Cora Assistant is your conversational interface for managing email. Instead of clicking through menus, just tell Cora what you want in natural language.

Where to find the Assistant

Web interface: Chat with the Assistant directly at cora.computer

Email: Send messages to [email protected]—perfect for forwarding specific emails or teaching Cora without leaving your inbox

Finding and searching emails

Simple searches:

"Find emails from Sarah" "Show me emails about the Johnson project" "What emails did I get yesterday?" "Find my flight confirmation"

Advanced searches:

"Find all invoices from last month" "Show me unread emails from my team" "Find emails with attachments larger than 5MB" "What emails mention both budget and Q4?"

If your search returns no results, Cora automatically:

  • Broadens the search terms

  • Expands the date range

  • Suggests alternatives

Managing categories

"Move this email to Important Context" "This should be in Newsletters, not Promotions" "Create a category called Board Meetings" "Delete the Old Projects category"

Managing rules

"Always keep emails from my boss in inbox" "All emails from @client.com should go to Client category" "Show me all my rules" "Delete the rule for @oldcompany.com"

Teaching Cora about you

The Assistant can remember important information:

Facts and preferences:

"Remember that my meeting link is calendly.com/myname" "My assistant's name is Jennifer" "I prefer morning meetings"

Managing memories:

"What do you remember about me?" "Update my meeting link" "Forget the old phone number"

Forward emails to the Assistant for:

Analysis:

"How should I respond to this?" "What category should this be in?" "Is this email important?"

Rule creation:

"Always put emails from this sender in Important Context" "Create a rule for all emails from this company"

Benefits:

  • Stay in your regular email client

  • Reference actual emails, not descriptions

  • Get help without opening the web interface

Chaining commands

Request multiple actions at once:

"Find all invoices, create an Invoices category, move them there, and set up a rule for future invoices"

Cora handles each step in sequence.

What the Assistant can't do

Account management:

  • Can't change billing or subscription plans

  • Can't modify payment methods

Gmail operations:

  • Can't permanently delete emails

  • Can't send emails (only creates drafts for you to review)

  • Can't modify Gmail settings

  • Can't access Trash or Spam

Pro tips

  • Be specific when needed: "Find emails from [email protected]" vs just "Find emails from John"

  • Use natural language: The Assistant understands context and intent

  • Build on previous commands: "Now create a rule for that sender"

  • Batch similar tasks: Set up all your rules at once for efficiency
