Here are solutions to the most common issues you might run into with Cora.
Briefs aren't arriving
Check your Brief schedule:
Go to Brief Settings
Verify your Brief times are set correctly
Make sure at least one Brief is active
Check your timezone:
Go to Account Settings
Verify your timezone is correct
Brief times are in YOUR local timezone
Check if Cora is paused:
Go to Account Settings
Make sure Cora isn't paused for your account
Emails are being categorized incorrectly
Correct individual emails:
Tell the Assistant: "Move this email to [correct category]"
Cora learns from your corrections
Create rules for specific senders:
"Always put emails from @company.com in Important Context" "Never brief emails from this sender"
Check your existing rules:
"Show me all my classification rules"
You may have a rule overriding the AI classification.
Drafts aren't being generated
Check if auto-drafting is enabled:
Go to Draft Settings
Make sure "Auto-draft Responses" is toggled on
Check the email category:
Only certain categories (like Important Draft) generate drafts
Emails in Brief categories don't get drafts
Can't find an email
Search with the Assistant:
"Find emails from [sender]" "Show me emails about [topic]" "Find emails from [date]"
Check All Mail in Gmail: Archived emails are in Gmail's "All Mail" folder, not deleted.
Check the right account: If you have multiple accounts connected, make sure you're looking in the right one.
Reporting issues
Tell the Assistant:
"Report an issue with email classification" "This email won't load properly" "My briefs aren't arriving on time"
The Assistant will gather diagnostic information and send it to our team.
