You can choose whether Monologue processes your voice locally on your Mac or in the cloud.
To change your processing mode:
Open Monologue Settings
Go to the General tab
Under Transcription source, select Local or Remote
Local mode keeps everything on your device: great for privacy and offline use, though accuracy depends on your Mac's performance.
Remote (cloud) mode sends your audio to our servers for processing, then deletes it immediately. This typically offers better accuracy, especially for complex vocabulary or noisy environments.
You can switch between modes anytime based on your needs.
