Your content stays yours

Spiral doesn't claim ownership of anything you write. You grant us a license to process your content so we can provide the service, but your work remains yours.

What Spiral collects

We collect:

  • Your name and email address (for account login)

  • Basic technical data (device info, IP address, cookies)

  • Usage analytics to improve the service

We don't collect:

  • Your financial information (payments are handled securely by a third-party processor)

  • Information from children under 13

How your data is used

We use your information to:

  • Create and maintain your account

  • Process payments

  • Improve Spiral and train our AI models

  • Send you updates (you can opt out of promotional emails anytime)

AI providers we work with

Spiral uses trusted third-party AI providers to power its writing features:

  • OpenAI

  • Anthropic

  • Google Gemini

  • Helicone

Your content may be shared with these providers to deliver the service. Each has their own terms and privacy policies.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored on servers in the United States. We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption, to protect your information. That said, no system is 100% secure — we can't guarantee complete protection, but we take every reasonable step to safeguard your data.
