Overview

Cora automatically organizes your emails into categories like Calendar, Newsletter, Promotion, and Other. These categories appear as labels in Gmail.

You can't delete these categories because Cora uses them to classify your incoming email. However, you can hide them from your Gmail label list so they don't clutter your sidebar.

How to hide a category label

  1. In Gmail, find the category label in your left sidebar (e.g. Cora/Newsletter)

  2. Hover over the label and click the three dots (โ‹ฎ) icon

  3. Select "Hide" under "In label list"

The label will no longer appear in your sidebar, but Cora will continue to categorize your emails behind the scenes. You can always unhide the label later by going to Settings โ†’ Labels in Gmail and clicking "Show" next to the label.

Good to know

  • Hiding a label does not affect how Cora processes your email

  • Emails will still be categorized and included in your briefs as normal

  • You can hide as many or as few category labels as you like
