Team subscriptions: pricing, setup, billing, and cancellation

Give your whole team paid Every access on one bill: pricing per seat, how to set up and manage members, how billing works, and how to cancel.

Written by Fin

A team subscription gives everyone on your team full paid access to Every, billed to one card and managed by one admin. Each member counts as a seat, including the admin.

What's included

Every seat gets the same access as an individual paid subscription: all Every articles plus Cora, Spiral, Sparkle, and Monologue. For the full list, see What's included in a paid Every subscription.

On top of that, a team gets:

  • One bill for everyone, paid by the admin

  • An invite link, email invites, and CSV upload for adding people

  • Seats that adjust automatically as people join or leave

Pricing

Plan

Price

Annual

$288 per seat per year ($24 per seat per month), billed yearly

Monthly

$30 per seat per month, billed monthly

Your total is the price per seat times the number of members, including you. A team of five on the annual plan pays $1,440 per year. Pending invitations don't count until the person accepts.

Set up a team

  1. Sign in and go to every.to/teams/new (or Account → Teams → Create a team).

  2. Name your team and click Continue.

  3. Add teammates: copy the invite link, type emails separated by commas, or upload a CSV with an Email column. You can also click Skip for now and add people later.

  4. Choose Annual or Monthly.

  5. Enter your card and billing address, add a promo code if you have one, and click Finish setup.

Your team gets access as soon as the payment goes through. Some banks ask you to confirm the payment in a pop-up (3D Secure); finish that step or the team stays inactive. Everyone on the team gets an email when the team is upgraded.

You can also click Add payment details later. The team is created, but no one gets paid access until you choose a plan from the team's Billing tab.

Add or remove members

Only the team admin can manage members. Go to Account → Teams → your team → Settings.

  • Invite link: anyone with the link can join right away. Use Regenerate to replace it or Revoke to turn it off.

  • Email invites: enter emails separated by commas and click Invite. Invitees accept or decline from their Teams page.

  • CSV upload: upload a file with an Email column.

  • Remove someone: open the menu next to their name and remove them. They lose team access right away.

When someone joins or leaves a paid team, your seat count updates automatically and your bill adjusts to match.

If a member already has their own subscription

When someone with a personal standard subscription joins a paid team, their personal subscription is canceled so they aren't billed twice. A personal All Access subscription is kept.

The canceled personal subscription isn't refunded automatically. If you joined a team partway through a paid period, contact support with your account email and we'll review it.

How billing works

  • The admin's card pays for every seat.

  • Your plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.

  • To change the card or billing address, go to your team's Billing tab and update your card.

  • If a payment fails, your team keeps access while the card is retried. Update the card to avoid losing access.

  • To switch between monthly and annual, contact support.

Cancel or reactivate a team subscription

Only the team admin can cancel. Go to Account → Teams → your team → Billing and cancel your subscription.

  • Your team keeps access until the end of the current billing period, then the plan stops renewing.

  • Any team add-ons end at the same time.

  • After that date, members without their own subscription go back to free access.

  • Changed your mind? Reactivate from the same Billing tab before the end date and nothing changes for your team.

Leaving a team

If you're a member and want to leave, ask your team admin to remove you. Once you're removed, you go back to free access unless you have your own subscription. You can start one anytime from Account → Billing.
